Nitrogen generators and oxygen generators

The system is made up by two sets of aluminum extruded columns that are filled with "CMS" (Carbon Molecular Sieves) to produce nitrogen or "Zeolites" to produce oxygen. These materials have physical features such as to permit a mechanical-holding of oxygen molecules for CMS sieves or to hold nitrogen molecules for zeolites sieves. A stream of compressed and pre-treated air crosses the columns from the bottom to the top. The oxygen or nitrogen is absorbed by the filtering material, whereas nitrogen or oxygen outgoing from the top of the towers is collected in a storage tank and ready to be used.
The PLC control system and dedicated software, developed by ERREDUE, automatically runs the main functions of production process of nitrogen gas or oxygen gas. A series of columns is kept in operation for a predetermined period of time, and when it is almost saturated by absorbed gases, the control system automatically activates the other set of columns that was being regenerate, and the contents of the first series is then purged into free air and then the filtering material is regenerated.
The production system consists of a double sets of columns that allows an easily extension by adding further columns and consequent increase of gas production. The purity of nitrogen is up to 99.995% and 98% for the oxygen gas.
